Brenda ArandaAs Director of Marketing Communications at CURE, Brenda provides strategic and operational oversight of marketing communications initiatives.

She brings over 13 years of progressive experience in broadcast journalism, public relations, government relations, marketing and business development to the role. Prior to joining CURE, Brenda was employed by Advocate Health Care, Illinois’ largest health care system and one of the nation’s top five large health systems, in a number of positions that included Public Relations Associate, Manager of Communications and Government Relations, Director of Communications and Government Relations and Director of Public Affairs and Marketing. She began her career at WLS-TV/ABC 7 Chicago, the market’s most-watched television station, working on the assignment desk and as a Field Producer.

Brenda graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, and a minor in English Writing. She also earned a Certificate of the Minority Medical Education Program from the Yale University College of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut.

 

 

 

 

CURE CURE is a non-profit organization founded by mothers of children with epilepsy who joined forces to spearhead the search for a cure.
