Brandon LaughlinAs Research Administrator for the Epilepsy Genetics Initiative (EGI), Brandon is responsible for managing the transfer of information between CURE, patients with epilepsy and their loved ones, the genetic repository, enrollment sites, advocacy groups, and other stakeholders in the EGI network.

He monitors the progress of EGI and disseminates updates on the program via the CURE website, eNews and e-communications. His role has also expanded to include responsibilities for various Research and Development activities.

Before joining CURE, Brandon was the Assistant Director of Academic and Student Services at Westwood College, where he provided academic, career and life counseling services to students of all ages.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences from University of Pittsburgh and a Master of Science in Education from Duquesne University.

 

 

 

 

CURE CURE is a non-profit organization founded by mothers of children with epilepsy who joined forces to spearhead the search for a cure.
