A Summer Slow Down?
It feels like I’ve been out of touch for a while, and, I guess it has been a week or so… rest assured, though; there’s lots going on at CURE during my silence!
We are soon to announce our first cycle of research funding for 2012. Look for that within the next week!
And, we are wrapping up odds and ends from our amazingly successful Chicago benefit with Carole King. If you haven’t watched the videos of our event, including one of our three awesome awardees, take a look here. For all of you who made that night our most successful ever, our continued and deep, deep thanks for supporting our first over-$1million night!
In the spirit of summertime fun, three great events are coming up:

And, last but not least, the third Mechanisms of Epilepsy & Neuronal Synchronization Gordon Conference is fast approaching. This is an amazing assemblage of basic scientists, all focused on epilepsy, and held at the Waterville Valley Resort in New Hampshire. I’ll definitely be snapping some pictures there!
Hope you all are able to take some time to relax this summer. Hope you all have a great weekend!
